Sheffield City Opera wants more men!

Sheffield City Opera says exciting singing and passionate music are in store for its 2010 season – and that men are needed to help.

Forthcoming concerts include excerpts from Gluck’s Orpheus, Verdi’s Macbeth and Mozart’s Magic Flute on April 17 at Victoria Hall, singing alongside international star Elizabeth Watts on May 29 and an autumn production of Elixir of Love by Donizetti (see Youtube clip below).

Singers in all parts, but especially men, are wanted and rehearsals take place at Wesley Hall, Crookes, on Wednesdays at 7.30pm.
