The Millennium Gallery’s “Christmas Crackers” showcase for contemporary craft and design in the North of England ends on 10th January, so get down there to snap up some of the unique pieces on sale for a few more days only!

This year Christmas Crackers welcomes work by a host of popular names, including must-have textiles by Margo Selby, and also Tait & Style, whose work was a big hit with visitors to last year’s Get Knitted exhibition. Finely crafted bird and flower inspired metalwork brooches by Melanie Tomlinson also features in this year’s show, as does a new range of quirky ceramics from the ever-popular Hannah Turner. Alongside these firm favourites, the show debuts new designs from a range of rising stars including work in precious metals courtesy of Torz Cartwright, and ceramics from Stephen Farnan.
